Hi, I'm Shane. I'm a data strategy and GTM engineer at Verkada, where I work on the Global Revenue Informatics team — building tooling, standardizing data at scale, and partnering with sales and marketing to sharpen how the company goes to market.
Before Verkada, I spent two years as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, working across strategy, analytics, and client delivery. Before that, I studied economics and computer science at Vanderbilt University.
On the technical side, I'm drawn to systems programming, language interpreters, and data infrastructure. I've worked through 80+ Project Euler problems (top 2% of solvers), which has given me a real appreciation for combinatorics and discrete math. I also care about social justice, institutional reform, and how technology shapes the way power and information flow.
